1: Where was she from?
2: What was she studying at university?
3: Were her paints realist or surrealist?

5: What was the name of her husband?
6: Was she famous during her life?
The purpose of this activity is that you can learn about an important woman of the history. In addition, you can improve different skills, like listening, reading and writing.

ReplyDeleteI like your blog, visually it has a clear and simple aspect that foster the learning-teaching English process. The use of the images is interesting and the instructions of the different activities are also clear and easy to follow.
Regarding to this particular activity, on the one hand, I especially like the possibility of improving different language skills together by watching a video. Video in which the information is presented both in audio, in image and in text. I also think that the choice of a character like Frida Kahlo is very interesting in order to extend the students’ cultural knowledge.
However, on the other hand, I think that a direct visualization of the video trough the entry itself and not only trough its link, could have improved the functionality of the activity.
